voices from the field

Stories of collaboration, resilience, and impact.

RACHNA, ANGANWADI WORKER, DELHI

Working as an Anganwadi worker in Shanti Camp, Chhatarpur, Delhi, I joined a community engagement project launched by Udayasa Foundation during April 2024. The sessions taught women valuable lessons about budgeting, online payments, savings, investments, fraud prevention, and self dependence. Many women with limited education gained confidence and practical financial knowledge. With support from Udayasa Foundation and several participants started exploring home based work opportunities. This initiative changed lives, strengthened independence, and encouraged futures for our families.

DR. BHUVAN KUMAR, CONSULTANT, HIPA

Disaster preparedness program organized by Udayasa Foundation demonstrated how corporate partnerships can strengthen emergency response systems during crises. The discussions highlighted the importance of documentation, coordination, preparedness exercises, and collaboration between government agencies and private organizations.  We will continue refining response strategies, conducting training sessions, and improving communication systems to reduce public burden and strengthen disaster management efforts. I remain hopeful about the positive long term impact.
